The Grameen GSRD Foundation Shikka Scholarship Program offers school education to poor rural boys and girls in Bangladesh.
The Grameen GSRD Foundation Scholarship Program provides financial support to poor meritorious high school students in some rural areas of Bangladesh. At least 50 students, comprised of half boys and half girls, receive a scholarship until completion of their studies each year. Each student receives BTD 500 per month as scholarship.

Grameen Shikkha selects students from different areas in Bangladesh based on family profiles and grade reports. The financial support will enable the recipients to continue their studies, improve their educational standards, and finally be gainfully employed to bring themselves and their families out of poverty.

Grameen Shikkha and the GSRD Foundation are very proud that the students of the 2018 batch graduated. They found jobs in different fields and became for example Medical Officer at a hospital or Lecturer in a government school. In 2021, the GSRD Foundation renewed its partnership with Grameen Shikkha to support a new batch of 47 students during their studies for the coming three years.
