By working with Suzhou Industrial Park Institute of Vocational Technology, the GSRD Foundation supports and encourages reform in the Chinese vocational education landscape.

The objective of the program is to infuse vitality into the running of vocational colleges by Public-Private-Partnership. The program starts by researching interested parties related to vocational education. The outcome of the research will framework the design of an institutional mechanism. Key personnel in the schools will then be trained in system reform and implementation for cooperative institutes.

The institutional mechanism of the partners’ reform scheme will be designed and implemented and a network platform will be developed. In addition a Public, Private Partnership Mode school union will be set up. Public-Private-Partnership Mode reform is necessary to achieve the ultimate goal of enhancing the quality of student training.
