Together with Better Future, the GSRD Foundation set up a soft-skill training program for entrepreneurs in India named Kadam Pe Kadam. Using this training program, entrepreneurs can improve their entrepreneurial skills and increase personal development.

Kadam Pe Kadam was created to strengthen the GSRD Foundation partner organization TIDE in India. TIDE selects entrepreneurs whose businesses can benefit from soft-skill training. These entrepreneurs were funded by the GSRD Foundation and trained by Better Future.

The program comprised of different modules that covered different aspects of entrepreneurship with the aim to have a sustainable impact. Module one, Personal Development, was a 5-day intensive program on developing insights into the self, building confidence and self-esteem, building teamwork skills and formulating business dreams. Module two, Opportunities and Connections, allowed participants to share their business plans with experienced business mentors, and gave students an introduction into microcredit and networking with relevant partners. Module three, Microcredit, provided selected business plans microcredit support. Finally, the last module, Coaching and Guidance, provided every program participants coaching by local trainers, experienced business mentors and each other (peer coaching).
