In cooperation with Plan Nederland and their local partner REACH, the GSRD Foundation supports skill development and employment for disadvantaged young people in Vietnam.

The program provides life skills education, formal education support, work readiness training, individual counselling and mentoring to disadvantaged young people in Hanoi and Hue in Vietnam.

The objective of the program is to establish a beauty care and make up training course and provide disadvantaged adolescent young women with employable skills and job placement support. In addition the program focusses on providing work skills and finding jobs by providing vocational training in Food & Beverages, Sales & Marketing, Nail Art, Web & Graphic Design, and Hairdressing for disadvantaged young people. All students will follow an English course and will get life skill training to build their confidence, self- esteem and manage their day-to-day activities, with the goal of becoming self-sufficient, confident and valuable members of the wider community.
